Background and History
The NYC UXPA is one of the largest chapters of the international UXPA (User Experience Professionals Association) (https://uxpa.org/about-us), but we are a standalone, nonprofit, fully volunteer-run 501(c)(6) organization. Starting in 2001, and since then, our flagship has been our monthly networking and educational meetup in Manhattan for UX professionals, those that work with them, and those that are looking to learn more about the profession.
What you get
A platform to speak to an audience of about 100 attendees about something you're passionate about. You can use this as an opportunity to increase your visibility within our community of design leaders, students, educators, and practitioners. Some of our speakers use this event as a way to test potential books or conference presentations; our community is a great place to get feedback.
Our Philosophy
There are two goals for every presentation:

Schedule
Target dates: Tuesday, October 23 (preferably) or Tuesday, October 30.

6:00-6:50PM Networking & Refreshments
6:50-7:00PM Opening Announcements
7:00-8:15PM Speaker Presentation and Q&A
8:15-9:00PM Post-Event Networking
